Question: I have had neck pain and bone pain in my scull, front of head under eyes for 5 months. Have had MRI on neck and have been told bulging discs and arthritis in my neck. Have just had C-scan on my head to check for sinus problems. That checked out okay. No blockage and yet have pain and soreness in my skull every day all the time. Fell off a ladder on my head on hard wood floor and then this all started 5 months ago. Don't know where to go to get relief anymore or what kind of Dr. Can you help

Brief Answer:
Occipital neuralgia to be considered.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Regarding to your symptoms and imaging studies findings, in my opinion, occipital neuralgia (a condition related to compression of upper cervical nerves that supply back and top of the head), should be considered as a possible diagnosis.

You should discuss with a Neurologist about your concerns.

Possible treatment ways include NSAID drugs use, cervical epidural injections, upper cervical nerve(s) decompression etc.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.
