Brief Answer:
Following management for gastritis flare up

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

1. Stress is the worst enemy to gastritis. It will aggravate your actual flare up.
That's why the very first thing I recommend is to try to control stress.

2. Having chronic gastritis is often associated with flare ups, especially during spring and autumn. To my opinion, you need:
- a re-evaluation of your current gastritis problem by upper endoscopy as your last testing was 3 years ago
- to start a new therapy with PPIs (omeprazole is found over the counter) twice per day and antacids after meal
- to make modifications in your diet. As your doctor might have advised since 3 years ago, you should avoid spicy/chilly/citrus/oily foods that can aggravate your symptoms
- increase water intake and be more physically active
- eat often and small portions, chew up slowly

3. Your symptoms are not indicative for stomach cancer, but to a severe flare up of gastritis. Although you are diagnosed with gastritis, that does not mean that you have or will get stomach cancer.

Gastritis flare up need medical and diet/lifestyle modifications as mentioned earlier .

Hope it was of help!
