Brief Answer:
This commonly occur with infection and mostly is temporary

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

This is common to happen with infection. viral or bacterial infections do cause fever which may be associated with sweats, this may occur specially after use of drugs for the fever. Some times this occur as the infection is getting cleared.
So in context of ear infection, i understand this is not something very unexpected to occur.

If you are otherwise feeling well , and your ear infection getting better, I would personally advise not to worry about it and to continue the treatment.
You just need to keep an eye on your BP to be normal, as it is, and to keep an eye on temperature that should be settling with the anti biotics. If the fever or ear infection is not settling ( which is not mostly the case ) by day 4 , you can talk to your doctor.
I am confident this would be a temporary one and should settle as your infection is get clear.

Hope I have answered your query. Please feel free to ask more about it, I would be glad to answer if you need to know any thing more about it.
Best luck
Kind regards,
Dr. Rahman
