Brief Answer:
Rest and analgesics will help.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
Myself Dr Sudhir XXXXXXX after going through your query ,I am of the opinion that you are suffering from acute backache. There are two possibilities in my mind.

1.It can be due to acute lumbar disc prolapse because you has picked heavy weight, you are unable to do much right now and no pain relief in three days.I keep it as first possibility.

2.Muscular pain due to muscle stretching.I keep it as second possibility.

Treatment of both the condition is similar in initial days but disc prolapse require longer time.

1.Rest on comfortable bed in most comfortable position (generally lateral position with hip and knees bend ).
2.Analgesics such as diclofenac/ibuprofen 3 times a day after meals.

Muscular pain generally relieve in 3-5 days, but acute disc prolapse may take more than 2 weeks to get relief.

For Diagnosis of disc prolapse MRI of lumbosacral spine is helpful.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
