Brief Answer:
Consultation

Detailed Answer:
This is a common problem in later life. Sex drive remains high throughout life -- it does not decrease with age. Your father in law wants to have sex and that is normal. If his wife is not interested, they need to explore the reasons for this in marital or sex therapy with a trained therapist who can help them resolve this issue.

Detailed Answer:
It does affect women equally. I see many women in my practice who have a strong sex drive late in life. There may be something wrong with this particular relationship between them that would benefit from therapy together.
