Suggest Treatment For Itching On The Thighs

Posted on Fri, 7 Apr 2017
Question: Hi, my thighs start to itch when I put on jeans and other long pants. I changed from Tide detergent to All fre and clear and that seemed to help a lot. Is there a cream or something I can put on my shin to make it less sensitive? Or any other options. It is so bad sometimes that I cant stand it.

Brief Answer:
Dermodrin cream for the skin

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking in HCM

I can understand your concern.

As you explain your problem it seems to be an allergic reaction from the contact.

Firstly you should be examined for allergies in general, which means it would be better for you to do the following tests:

Specific IgE
Pneumoalergens
Prick Tests

These tests explore further the situation of your organism related to other allergic factors.

If they are positive your doctor will prescribe for you antihistamine medications locally (cream) or orally (depending on your situation).

Please discuss with your doctor for the above.

Until then you can use a cream (Dermodrin cream) locally in the thigh skin several times/day and if you will not feel better you can take an antihistamine drug (Xysal) once before sleeping.

Avoid tight clothing too .

I wish you a fast recovery

Feel free to ask me again
