Suggest Treatment For Infertility

Question: Hi thank you for your email. I am fine. No matter what you and anyone said there are limited option for me as i am now 50 with a fail IVF. I cannot travel to XXXXXXX of any other country for IVF treatment. In my culture not having a child as a woman is a disgrace and shame for your family. I will give my life for child if i know how to have a child now. right now i am looking at buying anything to stimulate my ovaries and i know i am dreaming. If you can came up with a miracle solution i am all ears. What can i have or take at 50?

Hi, I think you can go for a natural cycle tracking to see if ovulation is happening or not. If not happening, you can take some mild stimulation with clomiphene and HMG injections and see if atleast one follicle is coming up. Talk to your doctor regarding this. If follicle is forming and reaching upto a size of more than 17 mm, take injection for rupturing the follicle and try naturally for 2 days after the injection. Take progesterone for next 2 weeks. Do a urine pregnancy test at home after that. But let me tell you the chances to get pregnant is 7 to 10 percent only. Also, in your case the chance of miscarriages is very high. So, be prepared for all situations. In my opinion, you should now start thinking about donor egg IVF, which will definitely help you in becoming a mother and it will not be evident to anyone because you will give birth to the baby.
