Brief Answer:
Change the timing of medication.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

Dear Sir, In cases like your father who come to my clinic, first I would prescribe a change in medication timing, i.e, Dibizide M: 2 tab in the morning and two in the evening, Rather than in the afternoon and see for 2 weeks. Check the Fasting and post prandial blood sugar levels after 2 weeks. If the sugar levels are under control, then continue same medication. But if the levels are still the same, then slight increase in dosage of anti-diabetic medication is required.

In such case, i would add Tab. Voglibose 0.2mg 1 tab. thrice daily. Diet and exercise are advised.

Hope this guides you. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer.

Hi Sir welcome back,

Wait for 2 weeks in as per the new dose prescribed for Dibizide M.
