Suggest Treatment For Glaucoma

Question: The eye doctor I vistied suggest that I might be suffering with glacoma. Please see the report and advise accordingly.

Treatment for glaucoma is tablet drops and some operative procedure.

Detailed Answer:
Report suggest you are myopic and having glaucoma. Field tracing is to be done to detect scotoma. Fundus examination is to be done to mark cup, disc ratio with high pressure. The cup will increase in high pressure will affect nerve supply from disc effecting visual acuity. Once glaucoma is confirmed then treatment option are oral tablet, drops like tenalol and operation procedure like trabiculectomy and other procedure to facilitate aqueous flow to conjctival sac for absorption. Iridictomy by laser can be done if there is oclusio pupil. With all the investigation and treatment glaucoma can be controlled. Gonioscopy is to be done to asses depth of angle whether open angle or angle clouser glaucoma.Dark room test or drug induced or water drinking test can be done. Confirmation of diagnosis and effective management of glaucoma is essential. Other wise peripheral vision may be effected with tunnel vision.
