Suggest Treatment For Genital Herpes
Question: I have had genatial herpes for 20 years only have had 3 or 4 outbreaks in that time that i know of..im having an outbreak now because i became sexually active on a regular basis for 8 months now..ive bought lemon balm extract to help with the outbreak because i dont have insurance but i dont know how many times to apply daily

The correct treatment for Herpes genitalis is Acyclovir tablets. If there's no associated infection i.e. HIV infection, then 200 to 400mg three times a day is sufficient in my experience (you may need a prescription from your local physician for this).
Lemon balm and such alternative treatments are controversial and there are no reliable studies to support the use.
Sometimes drinking and local application of aloe vera gel has been reported by users to be helpful.
