Please follow below explanations...

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!

I feel sorry for your brother's wife situation.
I read carefully all her medical reports and I can say as follows:

1. She has been diagnosed with gallbladder cancer that has infiltrated liver and is spread to regional lymph nodes , to para caval and par aortal lymph nodes. A supraclavicular lymph node is suspected for malignancy too.

All these findings means that unfortunately she has an unrespectable gallbladder cancer and according to XXXXXXX cancer society she has IIIB -IVA stage of cancer.

2. The opportunities treatments at her stage are:

- Percutaneous trans hepatic biliary drainage or the placement of stents to relieve symptoms caused by blocked bile ducts and elevated bilirubin level. High levels of bilirubin are toxic for brain and the hole body.
- This may be followed by radiation therapy as palliative treatment
- chemotherapy as adjuvant or as palliative treatment.

3. Please discuss with her doctor about the possibility of a clinical trial radiation therapy with radio sensitizers.

If you have other queries, please don't hesitate to ask me. I would be glad to assist you further.

Hope it was helpful to you!

Thanks for your reply.. I am wondering if there are any chance of survival or not. I can't understand medical terms so can you please explain me where the cancer has spread and as I said her jaundice is 8 mg/dL, is it possible to give her treatment now or we have to wait for jaundice to come normal... Thanks for your support in such struggling time... XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
Please follow. ..

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

The fact that the cancer has infiltrated in liver and on lympho nodes means that the cancer has spread.

As i read on medical history she has put stunt on biliary pathway.
It will help to decrease bilirubin level.

You can start the treatment even the bilirubin is 8 mg /dl.
With regards to survival at her situation I can say that 5 years survival is up to 10 %.

Wish you all the best.

Detailed Answer:
Hi back and sorry for my late.

As I mentioned earlier at her case the surgery is not very useful because she has a spread cancer and the surgery can' t remove it.
This is why is such cases we recommend firstly radiation or chemotherapy.

Wish her health.
