Question: Hi-
Question is I have low back pain MRI is clean, BUT have Femoroacetabular Impingement (FAI) in both hips. I am getting excruciating sharp pains all the way from my anus to the labia. Heat/Ice are not helping, it hurts to even sit, and I feel constantly like I need to have a BM. What should I do?

Brief Answer:
You may need surgical intervention.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Since you are not responding well to conservative treatment, you may need surgical intervention.
It is important to treat it early because it may cause premature osteoarthritis in hip.
You may need osteotomy(operation in which excess bony growth in femur or acetabulum is take out and angle is corrected).
Operation can be done by open method or by arthroscopic method.
It has been seen that surgery substantially improve symptoms.
