Question: I am experiencing excessive sweating as if I just got out of the shower soaking wet. I entire head neck and upper body is soaking wet. Mainly my head and neck are the worst. I am in a room that it 50 degrees and it is ~60 deg outside. I cannot seem to get cool. This week it has been going on since Monday. I experince this quite often but not all of the time. I have just traveled from XXXXXXX to Toulouse France and am running an international conference. I have had heart disease and a recent bypass 2 years ago and I have type 2 diabetes.

Hi,

The most frequent causes of excessive sweating are thyroid problems and Calcium deficiency. Sometimes if can be caused by acclimatization. I would advise you to drink much water, not to get dehydrated, and if it continues visit a doctor to do some tests to find out the cause.
