Question: Diagnosed with endometrial cyst. Having abdominal pain. Taken lupride depot. Need suggestions on MRI guided ultrasound surgery

I understand your concern..

MRI guided ultrasound surgery is an outpatient procedure which is approved for treatment of fibroid. This is by visualising the organ by MRI and using high frequency of focused ultrasound waves to destroy the fibroid.

This surgery is not of much use in endometriotic cyst which is mainly in the ovary..

I would advise to undergo a laproscopic cystectomy if the size of endometriotic cyst does not decrease with lupride and there is persisting pain..
