Question: My granddaughter bumped her head and every one is hysterical, she is 3.5 yrs. old a little discoloration and a small bump, what shoul we do?

I read it carefully and I understand your concern.

Put some ice on the bump so it wont get swollen more and will hurt less.
Try not to panic and keep talking to the girl. Don't allow her to sleep for at least 4 hours after now. Keep a close eye if she does any weired action.
Give her acetaminophen according to her weight dose to help her prevent any pain.

If she starts vomiting or if she does any weired action then take her to the ER (emergency room) because she might have a concussion.
