Brief Answer:
The frequency of sex is not enough to conceive

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

To conceive it is important to have frequent sex during ovulation period. Once a week intercourse is not sufficient frequency to conceive as life of sperm and ova is just around 24-48 hours. So if you have sex at least alternate day during fertile period than only there is good chance of conceiving otherwise it will be just a chance factor rather than an active attempt.

You can do following things.
Use ovulation detection kits and when you have ovulation, ask your husband to have sex as frequent as possible. There is 90% chance that you will conceive within three cycles.

Explain t your husband that it is important to have frequent sex. If he is stressed or burden to some other things help him to receive his stress so the frequency of sex can be increased.

In case there is no obvious reason for his low sexual frequency he can be also asked for serum testosterone estimation from nearby laboratory. In case there is deficiency it could be the reason for low sexual desire in your husband.

In nutshell you need to increase sexual frequency while identifying the cause for low sexual drive and correcting them.

I hope this helps you.

Brief Answer:
Yes it is treatable

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for reverting back to me.

Testosterone deficiency is common thing and can be treated easily as there are multiple preparation available in form of tablet, patches and injections. I do not think Shilazit can help as it is not a testosterone replacement.

I hope this clarifies.
Thanks and regards
