Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea While On Dexilant
Question: Hello, I've been taking dexilant 60mg for 3 months for throat issues (LPR). Ever since this time, my stools have been loose.. No diarhea, just loose stools. I do need this medication, so is this okay to go on like this?

I read carefully all your concerns and I can say as follows:
1. You are reporting to have loose stools since you have used Dexilant 60 mg per day. This is a side effect of Dexilant.
If your symptoms are not embarrassed to you and especially you have not diarrhea than you can continue to use Dexilant.
2. If your symptoms get worse and embarrassed, than you can use Zantac 150 mg twice per day and antacids like Gaviscon instead of Dexilant.
