Question: I fell today slipped on ice on deck and landed on the ground with my left leg in an awkward position also hearing a crack I thought just below my knee. Have bruising on outer leg just above the calf and very painful to touch. Cramping and pain as I walk, went to an urgent care xrays show nothing only pain on my knee is lower right side of knee. Been elevating and ice with a knee brace and now my lower leg is cold!? Should I gave it looked at further?

Brief Answer:
You should gave it further look to rule out any vascular injury.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.

As x-rays were normal, there is possibility of soft tissue injury or ligament injury.
If the lower leg is persistently cold then you should gave it further look to rule out any vascular injury.

I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.

Take care
