Brief Answer:
Overall brain matter shrinkage

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. A generalised parenchymal atrophy means that overall the entire brain matter is showing shrinkage. Usually it occurs with advancement in age. No interventions are needed. However, active participation in brain activities is recommended.

Let me know if I could help further.
