Suggest Treatment For Candidial Balanitis
Question: Kindly suggest medication for Balinitis, Not been able to pull the foreskin back, Lot of itching. Urine Complete report mentions about presence of pus cells 4-6( normal range is 0-2) also it indicates the presence of yeast cells ++

Presence of yeast cells indicates that you have candidial balanitis.
You need treatment with oral antifungals.
However at present you need to retract the foreskin.
I usually advice normal saline wash to my patients and have seen good response.
You need to dip a clean cloth in normal saline and wrap around your penis for 10 min.
Do this three times a day.
This will reduce swelling.
Simultaneously treatment with oral antifungals can be started with the consent of a doctor.
