Suggest Treatment For Boils Behind Head And Frequent Cold Sores

Question: My husband is 53, height 5' 11" and weighs nearly 17 stone. For several months now he has been suffering with boils on the back of his head, he takes antibiotics and they clear, when he stops taking he medication they come back. He also has an ulcer on his tongue for the best part of 8 weeks and frequently suffers with cold sores. He is currently under an eye specialist as on the corner of his eye he has a small red lesion (its being monitored in case it needs removing) and he has to wear sunglasses to protect his eye from UV rays. He has also started sweating excessively at night to the point of me changing the bed clothes each day, not just because they are wet but because he leaves a strange sour odour behind. I have asked him to go for blood tests to see if there is something wrong with his immune system, any advice please.

By your history and description, he should definitely consult doctor and get done blood reports like complete blood count (CBC), sugar levels and thyroid function test.
Diabetes and thyroid problems can cause similar symptoms.
If both are normal then he may need immunoglobulin levels like serum IgG and IgM levels to rule out immunodeficiency diseases.
So consult doctor and discuss all these.
