Brief Answer:
Brufen 600 should do.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for the query.

For acute dental pain you can take Brufen 600 mg once, that will give you pain relief for 6 hours, by which time you should be able to visit your dentist.

Hope this answers your query.

Take care, and regards.

Brief Answer:
It takes time for the medicine to have an effect.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, thanks for writing back.

It takes half an hour to 1 hour for brufen to start showing any effect, so in my opinion, you can wait for another half an hour.

And unfortunately, this is the only over the counter pain medication available, so, if the pain is not relieved, you can repeat the same dose after 3 to 4 hours, and if that also doesn't work, then you don't have any choice but to go to your nearest hospital and either get an injection or get yourself prescribed stronger pain medicines.

There is nothing more I can do to help you without examining you personally.

I hope your pain will subside soon.

Kind regards.
