Question: I was diagnosed with Thyphus type B, is it hard to get rid of?

Brief Answer: It can be completely be cured Detailed Answer: Hi Welcome to healthcare-Magic Greetings of the day I guess you meant to say you were diagnosed with Paratyphoid B infection. Paratyphoid B is caused by Salmonella paratyphi B gram negative bacteria. It can be easily be treated with both oral and intravenous antibiotic and the cure rate is nearly 100%. Injection Ceftriaxone ( 2nd generation cephalosporin) is drug of choice.it is given for 7 days Do get back to me for any further clarifications and doubs, will be glad to assist you.
