Brief Answer:
Post-traumatic Stress Disorder

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
It seems that you are having Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (following sudden unexpected demise of father, your very close relative ).
This has resulted in exaggerated negative beliefs or expectations about oneself and persistent negative emotional state i.e fear about losing your mother.
You have to accept that one day as a person grows old,he or she will eventually pass way. That's natures own way .We have to accept that and the void which is created will be taken care of by passage of time.
You have to overcome the negative thoughts so that you can take care of your mother well.
Acute post-traumatic stress disorders are usually self-limited, and treatment typically involves the short-term use of benzodiazepines and supportive/
expressive psychotherapy.
I feel you have self-confidence and will be able to move ahead in life and take care of your mother. Time is the biggest healer.
