Brief Answer:
It can go away

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for trusting HCM
I read your query and understand your concern.

I can assure you that nothing serious is going on with you and it can go away as there is no organic cause.

You should try immediately carbamazepine under the expert guidance and supervision of your treating doctor.

It should be started at low dose and increase it gradually till 600-1000mg until you feel better
You will feel much better after starting treatment, please discuss with your neurologist at the earliest.

Wish you all the best
Feel free to ask further questions or if you have any doubts.

Hope I have been of help
Best regards

What is the cause for this? Will it go away on its own? Do you think sleeping compressed the nerve ??

Brief Answer:
Idiopathic

Detailed Answer:
Hi again XXXXXXX
thank you for coming back
Unfortunately the most cases of trigeminal neuralgia are idiopathic meaning that the cause can be identified
Anyway the causes which need surgical treatment are vasal conflict and neurinoma
Those have been excluded with brain MR
Sometimes pain can go away by its own but generally treatment is needed
The best treatment is the one I suggested you ( carbamazepine)
It is effective and you will feel better once started it
Wish you good health and fast recovery
If you have no further questions please close the query or feel free to ask for further information

I understand your concern
You don't have to worry too much
As brain MR is normal it will go away but unfortunately needs time
Start treatment and you will see the improvement soon
All other cases have been like yours so we know what we are talking about

Try to talk less possible
You will be fine again, I can sure you
Wish you all the best
