Suggest Remedy For Reduced Sexual Activity When On Covance-50
Question: my husband is using covance 50 from past 8 years. his sexual activity is reduced. he is not interested for health check up. please advise.

Loss of libido is a common side effect with B.P medication such as Covance. However , one needs to determine if there is actual loss of the urge or it is due to any erectile dysfunction. If there are issues associated with erectile dysfunction then the drug can be changed to a different one and if still there is no improvement then flow studies can be advised. tadalafil or dapoxetine can be subsequently prescribed depending on whether its an erection or premature ejaculation issue. A sex therapist can conduct counseling sessions to help manage this issue more convincingly, if there is no identifiable organic cause at the end of the workup. He needs to see a doctor as there isn't much of an alternative on that front.
