Suggest Remedy For Pimple In Anus
Question: I had a pimple on my anus a couple weeks ago. It has healed a little bit, and there seems to be some raised skin leftover from it. Is that scar tissue? So it may take a while for it to go away correct? How do you know whether something is a scar or not? Is there a certain amount of time to wait to know if something is a scar?

Usually when anal fissures heal, there is a skin entension produced after healing this is called skin tag. This is a normal finding. This usually doesnt go.
But if it wasnt a fissure but a hemorrhoid or an infectious swelling then the skin tag left may be a scar. If it isnt paining , isnt tender... not producing any discharge then you do not have to worru about it.
It may take some time to get better usually 3..6 months I believe you do not have to worry much about it with time it will get better.
Just keep good hygiene and control over constipation.
