Brief Answer:
Could be due to temporary nerve root compression

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.

Slight pain wrist and weakness in hand for a few seconds could be due to temporary nerve root compression which gets relieved by itself when the nerve relieved from the compression.

Generally,no treatment required in this kind of problem.

Or in case,it occurs again and lasts longer then I would advise you to for further evaluation by orthopedic surgeon for complete clinical examination of wrist joint,X-ray scan and tests for nerve conduction velocity.

Your doctor may also advise MRI scan if the pain and weakness remains constant otherwise I do not think there is anything to be worried.

Since this kind of problem are transient and subsides themselves.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have anymore doubts.

Regards,
