Question: I had some pain on the left side of my teeth. This has happened before, and it turned out to be sinus problems so I have been taking Advil Cold & Sinus and regular Advil. The pain is not has bad, but now the left side of my face has some swelling. I don't think that happened before. What do you think?

Brief Answer:
can still be related to sinus disease

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Swelling can also occur with sinus inflammation and/or infection.

Blockage of the sinuses can cause swelling of the overlying areas.

In addition to using the advil cold and sinus, you may want to add an antihistamine.
The cold and sinus normally has in the pain killer, ibuprofen and a decongestant.

Using an antihistamine along with this would help eg benadryl, zyrtec, claritine, allegra
In addition a warm compress to the area of the face affected may also help.

The compress helps to encourage drainage of the sinuses.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
