Detailed Answer:
Hi

Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Greetings of the day

Dear Mr XXXXXXX

As you have been adequately treated for Amoebiasis, the symptoms are less likely to be due to it. Even then in few individual it is likely to be due to associated Proctitis (inflammation of rectum ) which usually takes some time to heal .

I would suggest you the following

1. Continue taking the tablets for 1 week more

2. Drink plenty of Oral fluids

3. High fiber diet : 2 servings of vegetable salad and 2 servings of fruits especially citrus fruit will ensure adequate intake of fiber.

3. Thorough clinical examination and assessment by your Physician to rule out associated anal fissure as possible cause for symptoms.

4. Hot Seitz bath : To a tub of lukewarm water add 2 spoons of antiseptic solution. Sit in it immersing your bottom for 10 to 15 minutes just before taking bath. This will help relieve associated muscle spasm

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take care
