Question: Fell day after Christmas, there's a small bruise over eye, or at the bottom of the eyebrow. When I
touch the area, I feel a little lump will it go away?

No treatment is required. Will decrease in about two weeks.

Detailed Answer:
Because of trauma, it is simply accumulation of blood under skin. It is self limiting. You can apply ice compression over it for faster healing. No treatment is required.

It is possible that accumulated blood will trickle down to conjunctiva causing black eye. It is due to developmental continuity of layer. This is self limiting, and will decrease in about two weeks time.
