Suggest Remedies For Wrist Ganglion

default
Posted on Mon, 20 Jun 2016
Question: I have developed what appears to be a wrist ganglion, however it is situated in an unusual area on the side of my wrist just outside of the wrist bone. It came up overnight after I cleaned repetitively for 3 hrs. It is somewhat painful with certain types of hand movement especially rotation. Is this likely to be a ganglion or something else? Thank You. XXXXXXX ..age 73

Brief Answer:
It is not a ganglion

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case and I do not think that this is ganglion. Ganglion never start suddenly and not causes pain usually. I would like to see a picture of your wrist to confirm the diagnosis. So please send a picture of your wrist.
Till then ice can be applied with rest and compression bandage. You can take Brufen for pain relief.
I am waiting for your images.
thanks
