Brief Answer:
Finding surgical clips in the abdomen is normal after surgery in many cases

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read throughyour quwery in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. The surgical clips are part of the surgery and it is normal for clips to be found in xray after a gastric bypass surgery. However please discuss with your doctor to know if the clips or any other condition might be causing the pain. If your pain is discomforting and persistent then a CT scan of abdomen might be required to know the exact cause of your pain.

Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have any doubts.
