Brief Answer:
Pharyngitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. The image shows a severe pharyngitis.

2. Ideally you should get this examined by a local ENT Specialist who can take a throat swab and prescribe routine blood tests and medication.

3. Routine medication includes antibiotics (such as amoxicillin + clavulanic acid : provided you are not sensitive to penicillins), anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic medications (OTC-Over the Counter medications will suffice), medicated gargles and adequate warm fluids, rest, bland food and household remedies (such as turmeric in warm milk, honey and ginger).

4. If there is no relief in 48-72 hours, seek medical attention.

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.

Regards.
