Question: I have stage 4 kidney disease, my creatine is high. potassium and phosphus is high also my bun, my GFR is 7.7 what can I do to increase my GFR. I am not on dialysis

Thanks for posting in HCM.
There is actually speaking nothing specific you can do to increase the gfr.
Usually kidney diseases happen because of other underlying causes among which most common are diabetes or hypertension.
So if you are diabetic or hypertensive, so a good control of the same with proper diet control, moderate exercises, regular medications and regular follow ups with the doctor should halt the progression of the disease process.
So as you are already taking precautions to reduce sodium intake which is a good thing also keep check on potassium contents of foods and keep it at minimum levels.
Keep a good check on any symptoms like pedal edema, reduced urine output or any facial puffiness. If any of these develop, seek medical attention immediately.
You should be fine if you keep it all under control and your kidney disease won't progress further.
