Question: What types of non-opiod pain relievers can be used post operatively, after spinal surgery, especially, spinal fusion surgery?

Intravenous acetaminophen or ibuprofen with gabapentin

Detailed Answer:
Dear sir, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns . if you prefer a non option pain killer then I would recommend either intravenous acetaminophen with a dose of 1000 mg every 6 hours or intravenous ibuprofen 600-800 mg every 6 hours together with gabapentin ( lyrica) with an initial dose of 300-600 mg that is increased gradually over two weeks to 1800 mg daily dose taken once daily before going to bed ..
