Suggest Medicines To Prevent Oxycodone Withdrawal Symptoms

Question: I would like to stop taking Oxycodone, 15 mg, and Ritilin, 20 mg. and would like to know if there is something that would help me to NOT have to go thru withdrawals? I actually fell off the wagon. And a couple of years ago I was taking, after I got out of the hospital Suboxone 8 mg/2mg and that kept me from having to go thru withdrawals. So Monday I am going to go into my regular Dr. who was prescribing me these the Oxy. & the Ritilin 20 Mg. But what she didn't know was I was using 2 Doctors. And then I heard of Naltrexone Intramuscular route. OR is there any other way I could get off without having to go thru withdrawals? I am only working 4 days a week, for 5 hours each time, and the amount I am getting paid is to embarrassing to tell you, it is actually $12 an hour. Then I heard of this "going under, but it cost $10,000 & it claimed that when I got out, all of the narcotics would be out of my system. If I was your daughter, and you didn't want to have to deal with it, what would you suggest to your daughter? I do get an amount from an LLC / Family property, I get a check each week, & now I am getting it once a month. I don't want to go away, I have already done that 3 years ago, & the entire time I had to board my dogs, then I went to after care, then to a Sober living environment. So REALLY READY TO QUIT & NOT HAVE TO GO THRU THIS AGAIN, WHAT CAN I DO? Please help me, I was born in December of 1949, and I am so sick of doing nothing but thinking about getting the next meds, and feeling terribly embarrassed to have to go let the family know, so I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO DO THIS BY MYSELF, INCOGNITO. And when I saw this article about Naltrexone help narcotic dependents to help stop using. Again, every Sunday at Church I pray so hard for help, and I hate having to ask "God" for anything because I have been very blessed with the "family" the ones that are left, a beautiful apt. overlooking the SF Bay, however I would MUCH RATHER HAVE MY FATHER BACK THAN TO HAVE THESE BEAUTIFUL PROPERTIES. There I have said all of it, unless you need to know anything else. Thank you so very much and hoping there is a way for me to do this. I am very disciplined, except for my addiction, and REALLY READY TO DO THIS FOR THE FINAL TIME. Thank you so very much. P.S. I again am very fortunate that I found this site with 187 medical doctors out there to help us. The ones that REALLY NEED HELP!

Brief Answer: You can try Butran Detailed Answer: Hi Thanks for using healthcare magic. I, Dr Abhishek Kapoor, would help you in this query. In your case, i would suggest partial opioid agonist like bupronorphine or methdone to avoid withdrawal. Dose of partial agonist depends upon dose of oxycodone you take. If you take 15 mg of oxycodone, then it is equal to 30mg of oral morphine, 15mg of methadone and 2mg of bupronorphine. As you have mentioned last time even after taking 8mg/2mg suboxone, i had withdrawal that means you need high dose of it. You can use bupronorphine patch. According to your dose, you can try with Butran 20 which is equivalent to 40mg of morphine and 20mg of oxycodone. That would be more than what you are taking and you would not get any withdrawal. Once you get settled on it, gradually you can decrease it dose. Better to consult a psychiatrist to discuss about it. In case, you need further help, you can ask.
