Question: What do u suggest as an at home remedy for a strained muscle on the top part of the foot? Its the part closest to the ankle. Can still walk but is painful.

Applying warmth will relax the muscles, help have relief from the pain and also support healing of any minor injuries that would been inflicted. Applying counter irritant like Methyl Salicylate (oil of winter green) would fasten the recovery. Do not massage or perform any exercises in the leg involved as it can only worsen the problem.
