Also trust! Ayurvedic medicne doesnt have any side effects .Secondly other 2 medicne - Ashwaganda & XXXXXXX wati are suppose to be taken at night only after dinner ? Or can I take in the morning as well after breakfast . How many doses are prescribed ? Also thy both serve the same purpose -relaxing mind so should i take both the medicne at the same time or after some interval?

Brief Answer: Clarifiaction & Dosage Regime Detailed Answer: Dear XXXXXXX Thanks for reverting back with your follow up and concern Since blood pressure measurements, are in favorable range, thus 1. As described earlier, that Arjin is not available in Shimla, thus cannot claim the effectiveness [since not used clinically], but one thing which you can do is that take tablet arjin along with arjunarishta i.e. . tablet arjin: 1 in morning and 1 in evening [before meals] with XXXXXXX warm water Dose: twice daily . syrup arjunarishta: 4tsf with equal amount of water [total= 8tsf] after meals: morning/afternoon Dose: twice daily i. If medicine has EFFECT, it will definitely cause side effect, if wrong dose and/or quantity is taken. 2. because XXXXXXX vati has herbs which have calming effect on the mind, thus is suggested during night time, since may cause drowsiness if taken in morning. [but you may/can take it [at your perusal], and may continue if such effect is negligible] Dose: 2 tablets at night, but if wish to take in morning, start with 1 tablet in morning and 1 at night i.e. twice daily .Ashwagandha Arishta is a single herb formula, directed towards neuro circulatory asthenia [Nervine Tonic], thus is advised in morning, since doesn't cause depressive effects. Dose: 15ml with equal amount of water [after meals] morning and at 1/2 hour before retiring to bed. i.e. twice daily PS. XXXXXXX vati is mainly given to alleviate symptom of anxiety, whereas ashwagandha arishta is given as nervine tonic [which gives strength to the mind], thus although both relax the mind but through different mechanism of action, as such both should be taken at same time but during different hours [already mentioned] Do revert back for any clarifications Dr. Munish Naimittika

Havent got ashwgandha rishta , so bought the capsule , would that suffice the purpose ? So now - I should take 1 arjin tablet before meal in the morning and i during night before meal and arjunrishta after meal -If i say before meal , does that mean early in the mornng empty stomach? 2 XXXXXXX vati at night after meal & ashwagandha one in the morning and one at night after meals .

Brief Answer: Mode of Administartion Detailed Answer: Dear XXXXXXX Thanks for reverting back 1. Since Arishta are self generated herbal fermentation of Traditional Ayurveda System while Ashwagandha Capsule although increases cognitive ability and boosts memory but is generally specified as Dietary Supplement and not Medicine. PS. you can/may start with them, but in later course do have Arishta with you 2. Mode of giving any 'Arishta' is only after meals, because if they are taken empty stomach, they causes irritation to the stomach. PS. dosage of other drug is correct. [as written by you] 3. Weather there [new delhi] must be hot now, and Ashwagandha in capsule form is generally USHNA [hot] in potency, so make sure not to take during peak hours of day since may cause sedation, low blood pressure, abnormal heart rhythm. PS. dosage of other drug is correct. Dr. Munish Naimittika
