Suggest Antiseptics To Avoid Anal Infection

Question: Rather a embarrassing for me to write it, but I am seen , when there are bad smell in the air and when I inhale. The smell gets into the body.. but after sometime or a day later.. my anal region stinks the same. What is wrong here.. Is there a way to keep the hygiene of the area, if any medicine can help me with it..

It is very unlikely that what you smell comes out of your anus

Yet for hygiene of anal region sitz bath is one of the best methods with an antiseptic solution

You may also rule out any form of collitis and if need be add a probiotic and/or antibiotic

Sure Doctor, the information is really helpful...There are so many Antibiotic , i am not sure which one is specific for the condition, which I can give a try and how long the treatment should last apart from Sitz bath.

I would suggest you start with a good probiotic for two weeks and sitz bath along with it

If this does not work get a stool culture done and accordingly start an antibiotics

Off the flooded antibiotic market, any quinolone with nitroimidazole derivative like Ofloxacillin and Ornidazole twice a day for seven days is the antibiotic of choice
