Brief Answer:
Prescription and non-prescription alternatives to Uribel...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concern.

When you ask about the alternative to a medication, you should look into its ingredients which are as following:
- methylene blue
- methenamine
- sodium phosphate monobasic
- phenyl salicylate
- hyoscyamine sulfate

It is prescribed to relieve the urinary symptoms, in your case following kidney removal and bladder surgery.

This drug contains hyoscyamine sulfate, which you can find alone and prescribed by your doctor. It contains phenyl salicylate and methylene blue that is the causing your urine to change color.

You can ask your doctor to prescribe hyoscine; while can get spasmodil or spasmex as over the counter medication.
Cranberry or uva-ursi supplements can also be another alternative.

Hope this helps.
