Brief Answer:
List of possibilities, and what you can do next

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Oral candidiasis can be caused due to various reasons like:

+Uncontrolled diabetes
+Medications that can cause immunosuppression (e.g steroids, antibiotics, etc.)
+Infections that can cause immunosuppression (HIV/AIDS)
+Wearing dentures
+Dry mouth
+Chemo or radiotherapy

Treatment includes the use of oral anti-fungal medications like fluconazole, but if it does not seem to be effective then a drug called amphotericin B can be used but it is a little strong so you will have to speak to your doctor about it.

I hope you find my response helpful. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help.

Best wishes.
