Treatment of sleep problem depend on cause and duration of problem. Like many time sleep problem occur due to anxiety or depression, in such csses mirtaz 7.5mg in night good alternative.
Other good alternatives are Agomelatine (non addictive) and zolpidem. But any of these medicine should be used under psychiatrist supervision to prevent addiction and overuse.
Same time follow sleep hygiene for better sleep.

How you can confirm diagonosis in absence of patient.?
Somebody comes to you claiming they have problem of patient cooperation .
You can go by her/his statement and prescribe Oleanz RT witout ascertaing the need/diagonosis. Can overdose be prevented in such case. Is doctor responsible for such cases.
