Brief Answer:
no weaning required

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care question

You are currently on vyvanse and scheduled for surgery. They vyvanse is for ADHD and is usually a stimulant medication. You can take the vyvanse up to the day before surgery and can start it back as soon as you return to work, There is no real need to wean since this is a stimulant and there should be no withdrawal issues. If you have missed pills before you notice you dont have withdrawal problems. you may have concentration problems but no physical withdrawal issues

I hope I answered your question. Please contact HCM again with your health care concerns
