Question: Red non itchy rash no blisters, not raised. no stomach, under breast, lower back area. I was very warm today could this be a heat rash? I am not on penicillin.

Hi,

Thanks for the description and the images attached. I took a look at them and were helpful forming my opinion.
Non itchy rash that is red and not raised is not serious thing and could be easily related to heat rash. Once the body get cooled off or a cold shower will subside this rash.
The other variants could be allergy rash which is may not itchy all the time. This also subsides very quickly.

I do take Norco 5/325 and have been taking them for 3 yrs due to degenerative disc decease - I also take 5mg Valium only at bedtime.
Could any of these drugs be the issue? I have never had this before.

I took my Valium tonight at 12am before writing to you. The rash seems to not be so bright red.. I did have a heating pad on my back this evening.. and was very warm. Thank you so kindly for helping me. I am very scared and nervous.

Hi,

Besides the chances are slim that the new rash is because of Narco or Valium, they are rarely serious and would not lead to Emergency.

New heating pad material or warm compresses sometimes cause this kind of rash specifically the areas where the compresses were done.
