Question: itching hi my name is XXXXXXX and am 23yrs old, am 210, 6 foot and me and my wife are experiencing alot of scraching and little red spots all lover our body and we went to a dermatologist and they told us that i had dry skin and prescribe me acanya and to my wife he got prescribe fluocinonide and she's 22 5'2 130 and we recently had a baby in January and we are worried that our itching will pass to her and in my genital area i have 2 little balls that are really itchy and 3 semi big balls the stem of my pines it on the skin they look like big in grown hair and there are very itchy and am itchy all lover my body mostly my thighs and we feel it more at night and my wife its mostly the same but only little red bumps all over her body and when she scrach they bleed and we had ate the same for a long time no change on soup or sound for cloths we change our sheets onces a week we live in new apartment 2 year old and the dermatologist ruled out any bed bugs and other ones i don't remember the doctor said that our red spot are not a pattern there not bites and we have finish our creams and we still experience the same thing and we dont have any stds we get check last check was on December 2011 and it was negative for both of us

The symptoms that you have fit perfectly to Scabies.

It is an infection with a mite. You may have acquired it from a hotel or some other person.
It is highly contagious and may get transferred to the little one.

My suggestion is that you see your dermatologist again and discuss this possibility with him.

If it actually turns out to be scabies, then you will need to apply permethrin 5 % cream all over the body at night. Repeat after 1 week.

You will also need to take anti allergic tablets for 2 weeks or so.

Please see your doctor again and keep me posted about the progress.
