What Could Cause Specks Of Undigested Food In Stool After Recovering From Hemorrhoids And Fissures With Minimal Bleeding?
Question: Okay I have for the last month been having hemorrhoids and fissures with minimal bleeding but severe pain it started by about of constipation and me forcing the stool out. About a week ago after a bowel movement saw something floating in the toilet water when I got it out it was hard Orange and kind of round butt flat I have also noticed black flakes specs in my stool for sometime now before hemorrhoid issue. this weekend I had a lot of the hard round pieces but they were not as round kind of corn shaped some of them some of them were just bits. I have pictures if there's an attachment that can be sent. Today I started noticing red splinter looking pieces with the black specks and Tiny hard Orange pieces my poop is somewhat normal color it is kind of smaller than it used to be but when I wipe the poop looks yellow.

In most cases such stool changes result from undigested food in the stool, as the food has moved too quickly through the system to be fully digested. It happens in gastrointestinal infections, food allergies or some inflammatory bowel disease. Generally, this is temporary and it should not last more than a week.
You should just have easier diet, drink more fluids and take probiotics. If there won't be improvement you need to do hemocult test first and then colonoscopy if result is positive since some more serious issues may be present if there is constant bleeding in lower gastrointestinal tract.
