Brief Answer:
A small depressed fracture of the nasal bones

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for posting the query

The small flattened region over the nose could be a depressed fracture of the nasal bones. Earlier there was some collection of blood in that area which resolved gradually. Now the hematoma has resolved completely hence the traumatized area looks flat.

Do not worry! This not a dangerous condition. It happens to lots of sportspeople. I would suggest you get an X-ray of the nasal bones done to confirm the same.

Secondly, this doesn't get rectified with medications.

Hope this answers your query. Revert back to me if you have any follow-up, queries.

It's just that the area where i hit got wider and when you lack at it from an angle it seems like a bump

Brief Answer:
It would be difficult to hide the depression or the bump...

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,

Thanks for writing back

I can understand your apprehension. I would like to reassure you that it is not something dangerous.

Yes, you would have to bear with it till you complete 18years of age. The nose would stop growing by that age and then the assessment of the former can be done accurately.

As the nasal bones are still growing, there could be widening of the depressed portion of the nasal bones.

We can’t perform any cosmetic surgery at this juncture, to hide the depression or the bump (according to your claim).

Hope this clarifies your doubts. Wish you good health.

Also by widening do you mean it will get worse

Brief Answer:
The facial skeleton grows till the age of 18 years.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Welcome back

The nasal bones and the facial skeleton continues to grown till a person is 18 years of age. Later on, the growth of the bones become negligible. Hence, no surgeons venture into correcting the nasal deviation before the age of 18 years.

Secondly, the flattening of the depressed nasal bones may or may not increase with age.

My honest suggestion to you is to wait for few more of years. If it is getting worsened, you can get a rhinoplasty surgery done.

Hope this clarifies your doubts. Wish you good health.
