Brief Answer:
gastritis, reflux or digestive enzyme issues, not related to mild scoliosis

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor services.
I have read your query and here is my advise.

* As per my clinical experience, the condition with mild scoliosis will not
pause much discomfort to that extent which will cause intestines to be
bloated.
Rest of the issues as gastritis, digestive enzyme deficiency, gut flora
disturbances or else have to be considered.

Kindly provide me further details so that I can answer your query completely.

1. Duration of current gastric symptoms ?
Abdomen pain exact location, radiation if anywhere ?
2. Which are exacerbating factors as particular food pattern or else ?
3. Any recent changes in weight ?
4. Details of bowel movements.
5. Level of stress or anxiety as this has much to do with intestine motility.
6. Current medications list if any ?

Awaiting for your response.
Thank you.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
follow up.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the details.

* Sounds more likely to be related to functional bowel disorder from diet
irregularity or other causes.

Need salient guidelines so far as life style modifications and medications are concerned to follow for best recovery.

- Till possible manage fixed timings of breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Keeping stomach empty over a long period of time makes reflux of
stomach acid more vulnerable.
- Keep stomach empty by 20 % of satiety level.
- Chew your food thoroughly, rather than just trying to finish it up as the
digestion starts from mouth only.
- Avoid late night dinners, sleeping immediately after lunch or dinner.

- Drink more liquids in sessions which help better gut functioning.
- In diet prefer, green leafy veg, cereals, pulses, legumes, carbohydrates
and avoid dairy fat, pasta, oily, spices, non veg till possible if consuming.

- Do regular walking, exercises, YOGA.
- Avoid smoking or alcohol if consuming which can dump your digestion.
- Stress management and sound regular sleep of 6-7 hours.

- Proton pump inhibitor as omeprazole or pantoprazole with sips of water to
be consumed on empty stomach 2 times a day gives best stomach relief.
- Chewing cardamom after lunch and dinner, helps digestion by natural way.
- Avoid pain killer medicines till possible which can raise your stomach acid
level and further disturbances.

Hope this information will help you in current situation.
Do feel free to discuss further as per your need.

I would recommend an interaction at 2 weeks period about the progress of condition and further course of action.
Regards.
