Brief Answer:
Best to repeat the test after a good night sleep and adequate fluids

Detailed Answer:
Dear Akshatha,

Welcome to Ask a Doctor service.

GFR above 60 is usually not considered as worrisome and some labs have different cutoffs.

The eGFR is not very accurate when the result is above 60 ml/min/1.73m2 and it has to be corrected for the body surface area.

Nowadays many labs do not report values above 60 ml/min/1.73 meters squared as absolute numbers, they just mention it as >60ml/min.

So there is nothing much to worry here.

Repeat the test after good rest and drink adequate amounts of water every day.

If at all the creatinine level is more than 20% raised or if there is albumin (proteine) in your urine, there is nothing to worry.

Hope that answers your query.

Best wishes.
